1- The History  of Ecuador begins with the pre- Hispanic ethnic groups until invasion then in the Spanish conquest and then with foundation of cities, independence and the republic era.

2- The Technology in Ecuador is quite scarce which has brought us serious consequences with respect to development, since the lack of it has not allowed us to advance in an optimal way in the competitive market worldwide.

3- In Ecuador there are 11 Public Research institutes that develop Science and technology projects in strategic areas for the development of the country.

4- In Ecuador  Art  has always been presented whether in architecture, painting, dance, photography. Ecuadorians live surrounded by art.

INDIGENOUS GROUPS IN ECUADOR

 

The nationalities and indigenous peoples of Ecuador are the collectives that assume an ethnic identity based on their culture, their institutions and a history that defines them as the indigenous peoples of the country, descendants of pre-Hispanic societies. The Republic of Ecuador recognizes indigenous peoples and nationalities by defining itself in its Political Constitution as an intercultural and plurinational nation.

The indigenous people in Ecuador have diverse origins, most are descendants of the mixture between pre-Inca cultures with the Incas, while others have existed as such for many centuries. The indigenous population is distributed throughout almost the entire nation but is especially concentrated in the Sierra and in the most remote and difficult-to-access areas, such as the Amazon. Part of the country's mestizo population is influenced and identified by indigenism to a greater extent than other nations with indigenous contingents.
